Individuals and businesses can choose to establish an endowed scholarship with the Dragon Scholarship Fund that would provide funding for a scholarship for a pre-determined set of time or in perpetuity.

Individuals who donate $500 or more can have their scholarship named in memory or honor of someone.

Another major fundraiser for DSF. Fundraising letters to area businesses are sent out in November with follow-up in November and December.

This is a major fundraiser for DSF.  Phone calls, emails and social media are used to contact community members in late Fall.   

The Dragon Scholarship Fund, in partnership with the Johnston Alumni Association,

is thrilled to announce a new scholarship campaign- Once a Dragon, Forever a Dragon.

Our goal is to strengthen the Alumni community while paving the way for JHS students to pursue education beyond high school. The best time to leave a legacy is now!
